The Kings Speech is a 2010 British Historical Drama Movie directed by Tom Hooper. Based on true events regarding King George IV who famously had a stammer. With the help of an Australian speech therapist named Lionel Logue, can King George IV overcome his stammer before he has to make his first wartime radio broadcast.

Cast

Starring Colin Firth as King George IV and Geoffrey Rush as Lionel Logue. Whilst being third choice, Colin Firth excels in his role as King George IV. Additionally Geoffrey Rush seems to suit his role as the Australian WWI veteran who, whilst having no medical training, it the only person who has been able to aid the future King of England.
